Procko was just 19 when he landed the overnight maintenance job, and other than switching to the day shift he kept the same assignment for 42 years and seven months. He has maintained the 50,000 square foot elementary school through two sets of major renovations, and can remember when the faculty was allowed to smoke in the building.
